I haven’t made it to the comic shop yet this week, so I’m behind on the new 52 issues. However, I did see this panel from Detective Comics #1 and am thrilled to learn they’ve turned the title over to a slashfic writer.

“Hail HYDRA!” by Eric Tan

Thanks to Comics Alliance for posting this image from the Mighty Marvel Superheroes Cookbook. Captain America saying “I’m on a cupcake caper!” is funny enough, but adding on the “chomp! chomp!” made me split my sides. 

For some reason this brief flash of the Red Skull in the most recent trailer was what it took to finally get me excited about the Captain America film.
